"I was reading the storey on how Thomas Kenny received his VC, as i am doing
research on my Granddad Luke Salkeld who fought along side Thomas Kenny in WW1.
I am trying to unravel the story about my Granddad when he was a sergeant
he got shot in the back of the head he got sent home and had a metal plate
put in. i have lot's of photo's of my Granddad's time in the war, here are
